Audio Sculptures

 

These pieces explore the materiality of sound.

Ben has worked towards building sound sculptures that provoke and record their own encounters with members of the viewing public. The sculptures then go on to replay those same encounters in the gallery space.

In so doing, the sculptures become machines that turn the subjects of their encounters into objects of art.
